As a new entrepreneur who has yet to launch their products for sale, social media has been a great tool to get the word out about my cosmetics skin care brand, Skin Sezson. You may be wondering, why would I make such a large announcement without having anything for sale?! It may be a risky move for some, but for me it was very strategic. As an entrepreneur it’s very important to build relationships. Having a connection with the public (potential customers) is important for the Skin Sezson brand. I’m not only interested in selling a product; I’m also interested in developing products that help people feel better both physically and mentally.
Using social media as a new entrepreneur is a great tool to meet people who are interested in the same things as your company. This helps customers be exposed to your brand, align with the brand message, mission, and vision, and in turn this creates a sense of trust. I’ve been using social media for Skin Sezson to share more information (who and what it’s about), and to connect with fellow skin care lovers. It’s been such a fun time chatting with the new followers across all Skin Sezson social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter – follow us @skinsezson) and sharing in the joy of the upcoming launch.
