Concealer 101

Hi beauties! I must admit right off the bat; I never used to believe in concealers or thought that they actually worked. Yep, I said it. I used to skip using concealers especially when applying my makeup in a rush. This past month I’ve been converted to the magic powers that concealers have.

When you haven’t gotten enough sleep, concealers are magic stored in little bottles to help you look alive and well. Lol! As someone who has just learned to use them to their best effect, I thought I’d share some tips to using concealers and making them last throughout the day. Read below!

• Use a damp beauty blender to help your concealer spread evenly under your eyes for the best coverage.
• Set your concealer with a finely milled lose power to help it last all day.
• Apply concealer all around your eye area for the best brightening effect.
• For a more natural look, use concealer shades a couple of shades lighter or close to your skin tone.
• Don’t be afraid to mix concealers for customized coverage.
• If you have dry skin, opt for a moisturizing creamy concealer and if you have oily skin try and use a concealer that is a little bit thick to help it last all day.
