Health and Fitness Hacks 101

Health and fitness is something that we have to pay attention to daily as part of living our best life. 

If you follow me on Instagram you know that I am passionate about living a healthy life that includes working out and eating healthy. HOWEVER, I do believe that it’s important to live a balanced lifestyle so I do enjoy the fun things in life such as cake, fried foods and drinks 🙂

As I’ve been on my health and fitness journey this year, I’ve actually dropped weight and inches “easily” . I say easily because at this point it’s not too hard for me to eat healthy and workout consistently. As of now, on average, I workout 4-5 days a week and I generally eat mostly healthy meals from Monday to Thursday/Friday.

See below some of the simple fitness hacks that I follow!

  • Intermittent fasting. I fast for a minimum of 15 hours everyday.
  • Meal prep. I always meal prep my lunch and dinners.
  • Drink up to 2-3 L of water a day.
  • Reduce snacking and snack wisely. I’ve limited the amount of snacks I eat daily and I’m very aware of what I snack on. I prefer eating healthy nuts for protein with a small fruit or vegetable on the side for some fiber.
  • Pack your gym gear the night before to reduce any excuses you have to workout.
  • Schedule your workouts. Think of it like your taking yourself out on a date!
  • Walk! I walk everywhere any chance I get! It makes it easier for me to get in a quick workout without having to think about it.
