Hi beauties and fellow fragrance lovers! This past Tuesday I was invited to attend the unveiling of Fume Scent Lounge located at Hudsons Bay in Yorkdale Mall here in Toronto, Ontario.
This fragrance lounge is the first of it’s kind! It’s a revolutionary way to test fragrance before purchasing one that is perfect for you. An interactive bar featuring containers filled with differing scents are laid out for you to smell. Gone are the days where you have to physically spray a tonne of perfumes and be overwhelmed with the initial scent of them all! (And from my experience, eventually leading to a headache because I’ve tried so many at one time).
Each container has the name of the fragrance so you know exactly what it is you are smelling. For example, I was able to see how the latest limited edition scent by Marc Jacobs; Twinkle smelled.
If you are someone who perhaps doesn’t know what scent would suit them best, or if you’d like to know more information about a particular scent then you can interact with the available screen embedded on the bar in the lounge to find out more information. There is a section on the bar where you are able to place one of the containers and information about the perfume is pulled up on the screen. Or, you can take an interactive survey where fragrance options are presented to you. It’s all so cool!
