Hi beauties! This week’s swatches features Physicians Formula Eye Primer Duo. I know, I know, you’re probably wondering why I’m swatching eyeshadow primers.
As with my foundation, I believe it’s important to use an eyeshadow primer prior to applying your eyeshadow of choice. I’ve been using the same eye primer for years and I’ve finally gotten the courage to venture out and try something new. What I like about this product is that you get to try out two eye primers for the price of one!
What also makes this a unique product is that you are able to try out a matte and shimmer formula.

As you can see from the swatches on my dark skin tone, both formulas are visible and do not dry down to a transparent eye primer. I’m still playing around with this product and testing it out with different eyeshadows to see how I like it. What I’ll be looking for when testing both primers is to see if they make my eyeshadow colours pop, if they help my eyeshadows stay put on my eyes without fading or creasing, and I’m interested to see if the shimmer eye primer will actually provide a sheen to my matte eyeshadows.
