Hi beauties! I’m so excited to finally be reviewing The Ordinary Coverage Foundation! As you can see, I will be reviewing the shade in 3.2 R.
Product Description
The Ordinary Coverage Foundation is described as a high-coverage foundation formula that provides rich pigments to offer the coverage you need for flawless skin.
This foundation comes in 21 shades! There is a large shade range to choose from for you to hopefully find your perfect match. What’s even better is that each shade is formulated with undertones in mind to better cater to different skin tones.
The foundation is packaged in a plastic bottle with the product name and formula composition on the front, and the directions of use and location of where it was made on the back. You can find the list of ingredients on the actual cardboard packaging it comes with.

The day after I bought this product I started using it and I’ve been using it everyday since! I’ve been wearing this foundation all summer and it has become a staple in my makeup routine. Firstly, what I love about this product is how easy it is to apply. You don’t often hear about application when it comes to foundation but I had to point that out. What I’ve found is that a little goes a long way; I don’t have to use a full pump of foundation to get full coverage. On average I only use half a pump. Once I apply the foundation it seems to settle into my skin immediately for a flawless cake-free look. It doesn’t look like I’m wearing any makeup and what’s even better is that it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing any makeup!
The shade that I purchased, 3.2R is my PERFECT match. When I wear this foundation people don’t believe I have it on because it matches my skintone so well. The undertone that I choose R (red) surprisingly works well with my yellow undertones as well.
If you have oily skin you’ll appreciate the formula. Prior to application, as with all my other foundation products, I use a primer and then apply the foundation and top it off with a blotting powder. I find The Ordinary Coverage Foundation works well with my primers and as I wear it throughout my 8-10 hour days, it transforms into a subtle natural glow and not into an oily mess. What I love most about this is that it doesn’t separate or settle into the fine lines on my face as it wears.
I purchased The Ordinary Coverage Foundation for under $10; about $7 to be exact! Yes, you read right, it’s sold for under $10! This is an amazing price point to me for such a stellar product. If you haven’t tried it yet, you must!
