Hi beauties! I’m excited to share a new skincare product that I’ve been using everyday since I started testing it. I’m talking about Purlisse Blue Lotus Essential Daily Moisturizer SPF 30. This is my current everyday skincare moisturizer that I’m obsessed with for Summer 2017!
Product Description
Purlisse Blue Lotus Essential Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 is described as a lightweight moisturizer that not only protects your skin from the harmful rays of the sun, but it also pampers it with unique ingredients such as blue lotus extract, algae extracts, vitamin E , white tea and soy proteins. This essential daily moisturizer has been developed to not only hydrate your skin, but to also provide anti-aging benefits all while offering sun protection.
This product is made without the following:
Purlisse Blue Lotus Essential Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 comes packaged in a convent slim white squeeze tub with a twist top. The product name can be found on the front along with some of the benefits of the moisturizer, such as; absorbs easily, no white tint and suitable for normal, dry and sensitive skin. As you can see, the product comes out as a stark white cream.
Performance
As I mentioned earlier, I’ve been using this product everyday ever since I started testing it out. There is a good reason for that…because it’s great! I’ll start off with the obvious first good impression I had with Purlisse Essential Daily Moisturizer SPF 30; unlike other sunscreens I’ve tested out in the past, when I apply this one there really is no white tint! None at all! It appears white when you squeeze it out of the tube but as soon as its applied onto your skin, it becomes transparent. Even on my dark skintone! Additionally, another reason why I enjoy using this product so much is because when I use it, it feels as though I’m having a mini spa experience. There is a faint spa-like scent (that quickly disappears once you put it onto your face), and the moisturizer feels luxurious. I can definitely tell quality ingredients were used in the development of this cream.
I have oily skin, on the packing there is no mention of this product being suitable for those with oily or combination skin. I would suggest that if you have oily or combination skin and want to try this product out go ahead and do so. In my experience, it didn’t make me any more oilier than normal. Personally, after applying the moisturizer, I’d follow up with a mattifying primer before apply my foundation just to keep the appearance of oily skin at bay.
I enjoyed testing Purlisse Blue Lotus Essential Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 so much that I ended up taking it with me on my recent vacation to Brazil. Yes, it did hold up well on my face it the hot climate! Not once did I feel like it was clogging my pores, heavy, or making me sweat under the hot rays of the sun.
Have you tried this product before? If not, let me know what your favourite sunscreen is in the comment section below.
