New month, new goals. I’ll be honest, I slacked on my fitness goals that I had set forth in the month of July. At some point during the month, I blew caution to the wind and did what I want, when I want. On some days I worked out twice a day, on others I’d go up to three days without going into the gym.
My eating habits were also impacted, if I felt like eating a burger three times in a week I did. I’ve gotten the rest I needed and now I’m ready to get back into a fitness schedule. Sometimes it’s important to take some time off in order to be re-motivated.
My main goals this month is to stay active! If I want to run one day and only lift weights the next day then that’s what I’ll do. This month I’m listening to my body and giving it exactly what it needs without pressuring myself to do more than I feel like doing.
