Rimmel London Volume Colourist Mascara is described as a mascara that tints the colour of your natural lashes over a period of two weeks. This unique formula is developed with a Lash Tint Complex™ that not only temporarily colours your natural lashes, but also provides the illusion of longer and fuller lashes.

Packaging and Product Description

Rimmel London Volume Colourist Mascara comes packaged in thin cardboard packaging with a clear thin plastic top showcasing the product. The front of the packaging has the brand and product name along with brief information highlighting the benefits of using the mascara. On the back of the product packaging you will find similar information along with the ingredient list. The actual mascara tube is a black and deep rose pink colour with the product name in a metallic rose-gold text. To open the product you twist open the cap.   0.37 fl oz (11mL) of mascara is provided.

I’ve been using Rimmel London Volume Colourist Mascara for about 3 weeks now and I’m highly impressed! When I first applied the mascara, I’ll admit I did not like it at all. Specifically, I did not like the mascara brush because it did absolutely nothing for my lashes; no lengthening or plumping. The only thing it did was literally just apply mascara onto my lashes.

I opted to apply the mascara to my top lashes and leave my bottom lases bare during the product testing period

After about a week of consistent use I started noticing the product claims. The first thing I saw after about 3-4 days was my natural lashes getting darker! After about a week and a half I noticed that the mascara actually lengthens the look of my lashes (however, after 2 weeks of use it has not created an appearance of fuller lashes). I really do like the innovation of this mascara! Being able to have darker lashes by doing something so simple as applying my mascara as I normally do is a great benefit. Additionally, I appreciate how this mascara washes off quickly and does not stain the surrounding eye area (one of my concerns when initially using the product).

From what I’ve seen, the lash tint does last awhile, I’ve gone a couple of days without applying the mascara and I’ve gone as far as to apply other mascaras on top of it and applying an oil on my lashes for conditioning purposes without any of that having a negative impact on the tint. I’m highly impressed with Rimmel London Volume Colourist Mascara and am glad I picked it up!
