Andalou Naturals Fruit and Stem Cell Science skin care in the brightening collection have been my go-to daytime skin care products over the past 5 months. I specifically use the Clementine + C Illuminating Toner and the Tumeric + C Enlighten Serum.
Packaging and Product Description
Both products come packaged in cardboard boxes detailing the name, purpose, use, and ingredients of the product. The actual packaging of the product is in green plastic containers. The toner comes with 178mL (6 fl oz) of product that is distributed via a spray nozzle. The serum comes with 32mL (1.1 fl oz) of product with a push-top nozzle to dispense the product.
The Clementine + C Illuminating Toner is suitable for normal to combination skin. It is described as a toner that helps to improving skin tone and texture by helping to reduce hyperpigmentation and protecting the skin from UV damage all while hydrating the skin with Aloe vera and oxygenates.
The Tumeric + C Enlighten Serum is also suitable for normal to combination skin. It is described as a serum that helps to brighten, and tighten skin by addressing hyperpigmentation and UV damage for a smoother and firmer complexion.
Both products are made without parabens, and sulfates and are vegan and cruelty free.
Performance
As I initially mentioned, I’ve been using both products for a few months and I absolutely love them. I’ve already repurchased the serum! These products do work, however it takes time to notice a difference. The instructions state that it’s best to use them during your day and night skin care routine. I choose to only use them during my daytime skincare routine, and as a result, maybe that’s why it has taken awhile for me to notice results. I started seeing my acne scars beginning to fade around the 3rd month of use.
I love how easy it is to apply the toner; with the spray top. It dries quickly into the skin and preps it for receiving the benefits of the serum. The serum is a light gel-like consistency that is slightly tacky upon application. This texture quickly fades once the skin soaks in the product. After application I always follow up with a moisturizer that contains sunscreen to protect my skin from potential damage of scars and hyperpigmentation reoccurring. These are staples in my daytime skin care routines and I’m looking forward to trying out their other products
