Sometimes I want to hide all imperfections on my face. Currently, my go-to product for hiding pimples and scars is L.A. Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealers. I’m not familiar with all concealer formulas and textures, but I do know that these concealers do the job well in making me look flawless. I choose to purchase 3 different shades from the Pro Conceal HD Concealers line; Beautiful Bronze, Toast, and Mahogany.
Packaging and Product Description
L.A Girl concealers come packaged in a sealed twist top squeeze tube. The tube is transparent, allowing for the colour of the product to clearly be identified. There is text encircling the tube; on the front is the name of the product with the weight (0.28oz), and on the back of the packaging contains product ingredients, the barcode, the name of the concealer, distribution information and the length of time the concealer can be used until it expires (18 months upon opening). When opening the concealer, the applicator is a brush that gets filled once you gently squeeze the tube. Beautiful Bronze and Toast are similar colours on my skintone. Toast is a tad bit lighter with a cooler undertone on my skin whereas Beautiful Bronze has a warmer undertone and is a perfect match to my skin colour. I bought Mahogany (the deepest shade shown) as a contouring product for my face.
Performance
As a novice concealer user, the pigmentation of these products are outstanding. They are highly pigmented to conceal flaws yet light enough for me not to feel it on my skin. I really like how it’s easy to blend out the concealer and how buildable it is to use. I find that I get the same look if I apply it before or after applying my foundation. When applying the product, I use the applicator brush that it comes with first, then I softly blend out the product with a foundation brush or a sponge. I find that L.A Girl concealers last just as long as the foundations I wear without creasing so long as I prime my face first before applying any makeup.
I have truly enjoyed using this product as it gives me a natural skin-like appearance that doesn’t make me look too made-up with makeup. I’ve already bought other shades to play with! What is your favourite concealer to use?
