For my birthday, I was inspired by the era of 60s makeup when creating my look for a night out. Originally I had planned to wear subtle makeup that looked natural, but once I got started I couldn’t stop and went all out on my eyes! Wearing light matte colored eyeshadow is difficult to pull off when you have a dark skintone such as myself; blending with a warm transition colour was key to making the eyeshadow complementary to my features. My eyes looked bold and fierce along with my brows and I loved it! It was the perfect makeup look for me to celebrate another year of life!
