This year at the American Music Awards many celebrities definitely dressed to impress! There were so many creative, fashionable, chic and trendy styles on the carpet. The pictures posted are a few of my favourite looks.
The 2015 American Music Awards was hosted by Jennifer Lopez and she did not disappoint! She changed numerous times throughout the duration of the awards in stunning ensembles. One of my favourite dresses she wore was by Michael Cinco; a tea-length fuchsia ombré dress with soft pleats, full length sleeves, a high neckline, and accented with Swarovski crystals.
Kat Graham wore a stunning white dress with rainbow confetti details and diagonally cut pleats by designer George Chakra. This couture strapless dress went past floor length and graced the carpet. A mix of solid and sheer fabric with strategically placed sheer fabric cutouts graced her body. The extra touch for her look was evident in her makeup; a bright inner corner highlight to pull the whole look together.
Zendaya brought some fresh floral lace flare to the red carpet wearing a mini dress with lace sleeves by Emanuel Ungaro. This leg baring flirty number effortlessly cinched in her waist and brought in a bit of feminine modern sophisticated chicness – in other words she looked like a new version of a millennial Barbie. Her bold pink lipstick and matching pointy toed heels complemented the look perfectly.
Demi Lovato went for a vintage old Hollywood glamours look in her dress made by designer Lorena Sarbu. This black and gold gown is a floor length curve hugging long sleeve number with a low back detail. The wide boat neck detail delicately shows off a hint of skin in a subtle demure manner.
Selena stunned in Givenchy. This designer dress is a ruby sequined stunner that is sleeveless with a simple shift-dress silhouette. A simple split placed in front of the dress rather than in the back adds a bit of fashion-forward flare. The statement dress has built in accessories added to it with what looks like inspired holsters. Selena wore minimalist accessories; simple strapped barley there heels and pin straight hair parted down the middle. She matched her eyeshadow with the dress with what looks like a deep red or ruby eye shadow. Her nail polish matched her dress and she added a bit of funk to her pedicure with a deep blue polish.
