The month of April was hectic for me; aside from traveling, I had out of town family and friends visiting. To say that eating healthy meals was not always a priority for me would be an understatement. At times i tried to eat healthy, especially during the week. But when the weekend came it was game over! Since the beginning of this month I have been trying to get myself back into eating as healthy as possible. I don’t restrict myself or go cold turkey from specific food; if I want something to eat, I eat it – including cake! However, I do believe in mainly eating healthy well balanced meals. I usually meal prep at the beginning of each week to help me consume healthy meals. If you follow my Instagram (@simplyeseeri) you’ll see posts on breakfast meals that I enjoy.
