I initially created this look with the intention of only using a smokey grey eyeshadow. But once I got started the look began to transform on its own. This is a dramatic nighttime look that screams for attention. Originally, one shade of a shimmery grey eyeshadow was applied to my eyelids but I felt that it looked a bit flat and needed some dimension so I added a white shimmer colour on the center of my eyes.
Then I decided that the grey look needed a complementary pop of colour, so two tones of purple were used as a way to smoke out the look a bit. I wanted the focus to be on the blended shadows so I opted not to line my top eyelids; rather I placed a thin black eyeliner on my waterline. To add more drama I added a bold raspberry blush to complement the purple accents on my eyes. I finished off the look with a subtle nude lip-cream.
